APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three teens — ages 17, 17, 18 — from the Marquette, Michigan, area allegedly drove to Grand Chute, then stole football trading cards and alcohol from a department store, according to criminal complaints.
Pierce Pittsley, Tristan Sauls, and Boden Poch each face one felony count of retail theft with a value of $500 to $5,000. Initial court appearances are scheduled for June 4, court records show.
According to the criminal complaints, loss prevention staff from the Meijer store reported the thefts at about 11 p.m. on March 6.
Pittsley told police he drove the three of them to the Appleton area for the weekend.
“Pittsley stole several boxes of football trading cards, and a bottle of Malibu rum… Sauls stole several boxes of football trading cards and a bottle of Smirnoff vodka… Poch stole several boxes of football trading cards,” the complaint states.
The store “estimated total value of the merchandise stolen was $627.85,” according to the complaint.
All three admitted the thefts to police.
