(247NEWSSOURCE) – The former girlfriend of Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is seeking to permanently seal evidence in his criminal case.
Her attorneys filed the motion Tuesday, saying the request aims to protect her privacy.
A judge temporarily sealed the evidence last week after Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property charges stemming from a May incident at his home.
A permanent seal could prevent the NFL from obtaining surveillance video it is reportedly seeking as part of its investigation.
Jacobs has been on the commissioner exempt list since August 30th and could be suspended once the league completes its review.
