(MARQUETTE COMMUNICATIONS) – Marquette University women’s basketball will travel to Nassau, Bahamas, for the 2026 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship, Nov. 27 and 29, at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center.
The six-team field, announced Tuesday by bdG Sports, includes Belmont, Illinois, Iowa State, Marquette, Saint Joseph’s and USC. Each team will play two games over Thanksgiving weekend at the Baha Mar Resort.
Marquette opens the event against Illinois on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. CT before closing tournament play against Belmont on Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. CT.
Illinois and Marquette will meet in the opening game of the tournament, while USC faces Saint Joseph’s and Iowa State takes on Belmont later in the day. The championship’s second day features Illinois against Saint Joseph’s, Iowa State versus USC and Marquette squaring off with Belmont.
