Candlelight vigil held in Green Bay for Madison police shooting

The Northeast Wisconsin chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America planned the gathering, billed as a candlelight vigil.

People could be seen holding signs reading, “They executed him,” and “He was somebody’s son!” Another sign read, “No more killer police.”

Another person at the gathering chanted “prosecute police,” and “Hands up don’t shoot.” Another person also held a sign saying “hands up don’t shoot.”

Some people were seen holding candles.
