OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A chart-topping country music singer is lending his talents to the U.S. Air Force’s salute to America’s 250th birthday at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
Tyler Hubbard will perform on the opening night of the world’s largest fly-in convention on Monday, July 20.
The concert is included with admission to the EAA grounds.
“Aviation isn’t just about machines; it’s defined by precision, purpose, and the relentless human drive to push boundaries,” said Mr. Marcus Carrion, Head of the Department of the Air Force Marketing. “We recognize that exact same ethos, that Air Force DNA, in the crowds at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Bringing Tyler Hubbard to Oshkosh for America’s 250th is a collision of world-class artistry and world-class airpower. It serves as a reminder that the dedication to master the skies and the drive to master any true craft are fundamentally the same.”
Hubbard has 23 No. 1 singles on country radio as a solo artist and as one half of the multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line.
His solo hits include “5 Foot 9” and “Dancin’ In The Country,” and with Florida Georgia Line, “Cruise,” “H.O.L.Y,” “This Is How We Roll,” and “Meant to Be,” with Bebe Rexha.
Throughout AirVenture, the Air Force will feature aircraft from the Pacific Air Forces and other units.
The 73rd EAA AirVenture is July 20-26 at Wittman Regional Airport. Advance tickets are now available.
