ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Brown County Library is getting ready for its big move.
The Ashwaubenon branch will close its current facility at 1060 Orlando Drive on Monday, June 8 as the library system prepares to transition operations to its new Pamperin Family Branch Library at 909 Cormier Road.
The new library will open its doors to the public on Saturday, July 18 with a grand opening celebration.
The Pamperin Family Branch Library is twice the size of the current branch, it offers roomy areas for children, families, teens, and young adults, and a larger collection. Visitors will find six private study rooms, flexible meeting rooms for group use, and a quiet reading room for anyone seeking a calm space. Cozy seating is spread throughout, inviting everyone to read, work, and enjoy the surroundings.
Funding for the project came from various sources, with the majority provided through Brown County Board of Supervisors. The project also benefited from the generosity of private donors, as well as support from the Village of Ashwaubenon and the State of Wisconsin.
