A group of students at Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas, this past Saturday, took the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile to prom!
Junior Breckan Andrews and his friends were hanging out at a local Sonic when they spotted the iconic Wienermobile parked at a nearby Dillons grocery store. Breckan decided to shoot his shot. He approached the driver, a brand ambassador known as “Meatloaf Maggie,” and asked if they could rent the 27-foot frankfurter for their big night. To the group’s shock, Maggie checked the schedule and said “yes,” even offering the ride completely for free. The next night, the Wienermobile rolled up to a friend’s driveway to pick up the group in their formal wear, eventually dropping them off at the Townsite Ballroom downtown! As Breckan puts it: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!”
