Meet Jerry Michaels, the dynamic host of The Breakfast Show on WIXX. He brings his signature energy and wit to the airwaves every Sunday morning from 5:30 to 10. Born with a microphone in one hand and a pair of headphones in the other, Jerry’s love for radio started early with a WKRP in Cincinnati DJ Control Center toy set. He officially kicked off his career in 1991 with Milwaukee’s iconic V100.7 while he was in the 8th grade on a field trip to a career fair.

Prior to joining the WIXX family in 2006, Jerry showcased his talents at several of Wisconsin’s largest and most respected radio stations. Beyond hosting, he’s worn many hats as a Voice-Over Artist/Actor, News and Traffic Reporter, and a talented song editor, remixer, and producer. He also has experience in the performing arts as a stage actor and performer. Early in his career, Jerry hand crafted radio edits for some of hip hop’s biggest hits—earning him a well-deserved reputation behind the scenes.

His humility always shines through. Legend has it he was selected as the Sexiest Man Alive, but Jerry, ever the humble gentleman, graciously stepped aside, citing his deep respect for Denzel Washington.
