OSHKOSH (WLUK) — A person was shot during a workplace argument in Oshkosh.
Police say they were called to a business in the 1800 block of Jackson Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.
They determined that an argument about work duties became physical, and one of the employees shot the other.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Within 14 minutes, police say they found and arrested the suspect, a 24-year-old Oshkosh man. He had a loaded handgun when he was arrested. Police are recommending he be charged with second-degree reckless injury, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.
The suspect’s name was not released. The Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office tells FOX 11 he is not expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
