(HORIZON LEAGUE) – Monday afternoon, the Horizon League announced the Under Armour #HLVB Player of the Week award, with Green Bay’s Diane Pichelman earning the award.
Pichelman led Green Bay to a 2-0 weekend, as the Phoenix downed Youngstown State in a pair of matches. Pichelman finished the weekend averaging 20.5 kills per match with a .402 hitting percentage across just eight sets. The sophomore middle blocker was also instrumental defensively, leading the team with six blocks on the weekend.
After the 2-0 start in Horizon League play, the Phoenix will travel to Milwaukee Tuesday, followed by a two-game set at Purdue Fort Wayne on Oct. 3-4.
