(Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump has ruled out additional sanctions on top Chinese officials for now as he does not want to further escalate tensions with Beijing, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
Trump’s team had created a list of Chinese officials, including Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam and China’s Vice Premier Han Zheng, before Trump decided against the move, Bloomberg reported.
