The Feel Good Story: A Teacher Makes A Huge Impact!

One teacher can literally change the entire course of a student’s life. Such is the case with out Feel Good Story. Jamil came to our country when he was old enough to be in second grade. He didn’t speak any English at the time, but his teacher, Mrs. Lung was about to change that. She worked so hard with him, and was able to teach him to speak, read, and write in English. He loved it so much, that he grew up and became a published author. Over two decades he tried to find her to say thank you, but had no such luck. During the pandemic, he wrote an article her and put it on the internet. Her husband stumbled onto the article and Jamil was finally able to reconnect with Mrs. Lung. Sadly, because the pandemic was at it’s height they weren’t able to get together right away. Recently though, Jamil published his latest book, and Mrs. Lung showed up to his book signing to surprise him! Check out the photo!
