GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — No one was injured in a structure fire on Sunday morning.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was sent to the 1600 block of Eastman Avenue for reports of a fire around 8:13 a.m.
When they arrived, crews found heavy fire at the back of the house on the outside, including a shed and a vehicle in the yard.
GBMFD was able to completely extinguish the fire in 10 minutes and finish overhaul in 20 minutes.
No firefighters or occupants of the home were injured.
The fire caused an estimated $20,000 in damages, and the two residents of the home who were displaced are being assisted by Red Cross.
The fire is under investigation by the GBMFD Fire Marshal’s Office.
