GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Davante Adams era is over in Green Bay.
The Packers have reportedly traded their top receiver to the Las Vegas Raiders for two 2022 draft picks, including the Raiders’ first-round pick, league sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday night.
A long-term agreement is expected between Adams and the Raiders. Schefter claims it will be a five-year deal.
The Packers had used the franchise tag on him earlier this month. Adams reportedly said he would not play for Green Bay under a franchise tag deal.
The move to Las Vegas reunites Adams with Derek Carr, who was his quarterback while in college at Fresno State.
During his time in Green Bay, Adams had 669 receptions for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns. He trailed only Donald Driver in the receptions category, and trailed Don Hutson in the touchdown category.
