FIFE’S FURBALLS! MEET THE ADOPTABLE SENIOR DOGS FROM NEENAH ANIMAL SHELTER!!!! On facebook here!

Stellar and Tucker: 8+ Beagle mix siblings. They arrived at the shelter in mid-November with their adopted brother, Betty the Boy due to a change in circumstances for their previous family. The good news is Betty was adopted, but because Stellar and Tucker are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together, it’s been harder for them to attract attention. They are both house trained, do good with children under 6 and are ok with cats. They are both sweet and gentle, but both are very food motivated and will “table surf” for food if anything is left within reach.

Zeppy and Missy: Zeppy 8+ and Missy 13+ aren’t related, despite a strong resemblance to each other, but are definitely a bonded pair. They are house-trained and like to cozy up for naps. They would do great in a home with a single person or family with children over 13. They are open to other cats and dogs. They’re still spunky with medium energy and definitely a goofy pair!

Lacey Lantern: Found his way to the shelter due to a change in the owner’s life circumstances. He’s been at the shelter for just shy of two months and needs to find his forever home! He loves chewing on indestructible toys like kongs, but knows what is not ok to chew on. He does ok home alone, seriously loves car rides and fetch and is learning new tricks like “sit, lay down, roll-over, etc.” He does tend to be “other dog” selective and no cats. He would prefer to be your one and only, given his high energy, but would likely do well with children 10+ that could help romp and play to burn off some energy.

Thanks to a generous donor, Tammy Mayo Diehl, TD Supply Specialists, NAS is grateful to announce sponsored adoptions for these senior dogs to offer no adoption fees Dog Days of December. This means adoption fees are waived.

In addition, Tammy has agreed to match all donations made during the month of December, up to $3,500. That means, in lieu of adoption fees, if you choose to make a donation it will be doubled and go toward other dogs needing care and attention to ensure their forever home.
