GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Packers were down early, but come roaring back with a big 2nd half to beat the Detroit Lions 35-17 at Lambeau Field in Monday Night Football action last night.
The Packers trailed 17-14 in a back and forth first half, before the Green Bay defense pitched the 2nd half shutout.
On offense for the Packers, Aaron Jones with a huge game, scoring 4 TD’s. Three through the air and one on the ground. Aaron Rodgers with 4 touchdown passes.
For the Lions, former UW Badgers star Quintez Cephus caught 4 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Green Bay evens its season record at 1 & 1. Detroit falls to 0 & 2.
The Packers now prepare to face the 49ers in San Francisco Sunday night.
