NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s that time of year.
New London is now New Dublin for Saint Patrick’s Day.
On Monday, leprechauns from The Shamrock Club of New London changed the signs around town.
Events are planned all week, but the Grand Parade and Irish Fest aren’t happening this year because of the pandemic.
“Come on out. Support New Dublin. Support the businesses in town. They could use the help partaking in some of the festivities we are doing. It isn’t much, but it’s better than nothing,” said Ryan Lanning of the Shamrock Club of New London.
Monday is Leprechaun Day. Tuesday is Hooligan Day.
St. Patrick’s Day is on Wednesday. That’s when there will be Irish Caroling in “New Dublin.”
