GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is adding game show host to his resume.
On the Pat McAfee Show podcast Tuesday, Rodgers announced he is going to one of the guest hosts for the show “Jeopardy!”
While the show’s producers find a long-term host to replace Alex Trebek, who died of cancer in November, a series of interim hosts will fill his shoes. The first of interim hosts is “Jeopardy!” record-holder Ken Jennings.
“Jeopardy!” producers declined to comment on Rodgers’ announcement. No date for the quarterback’s guest appearance was announced.
In the podcast, Rodgers did talk about his 2015 appearance on the show as a contestant of “Celebrity Jeopardy!”
“One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek, you know and being able to be on ‘Jeopardy!’ years ago, even though my wardrobe outfit wasn’t the greatest choice,” Rodgers laughed.
