(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – St. Norbert College wrapped up its trip to Colorado with a 3-0 setback to Colorado College in its final match in the Pikes Peak Classic at Reed Arena.
The Green Knights led 5-4 in Set 1 before the Tigers went on a 9-2 run to take a 13-7 lead and ultimately taking a 1-0 set lead. Colorado College led 7-3 to start Set 2 and never trailed en route to a 2-0 lead. The Tigers also built a big early lead in Set 3 with a 7-2 edge on their way to win the match.
St. Norbert hit .033 for the match, with 22 kills against 19 errors in 92 attempts. Anna Kudick had six kills, while Gracie Buss added three. Flynn Puttin had nine assists.
Maddie Kitowski led the back row with six digs, while Kayden Lamon added a solo block.
Colorado College hit .323 for the match, with 40 kills against 10 errors in 93 swings. Camille Sherrill had a match-high 11 kills.
