Randi Cook (Brown Co. Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Randi Cook was sentenced to ten years in federal prison for traveling from Oklahoma to Neenah to sexually assault a 16-year-old girl.
Cook, 25, was also placed on supervised release for five years after that by Judge Bryon Conway at Wednesday’s sentencing, according to a court official. Cook was convicted of enticing a minor for unlawful sexual activity.
According to the criminal complaint, Cook — who is married and has a child — met the girl on TikTok. Despite knowing of the age difference, Cook pursued the teen, although the victim “was reluctant to establish a relationship with Cook due to the notable age gap,” the complaint says.
Cook traveled to Wisconsin in November and engaged in sexual contact with the teen at a hotel. She then returned to the Fox Valley area in December and attended a high school band performance at Neenah High School, before the two went to a rental property, where more sexual contact took place, the complaint says.
The victim “has said they feel they have been manipulated by Cook throughout their relationship as every time she has attempted to end contact with Cook, she manipulates (the victim) to come back and continue the relationship,” the complaint states.
Cook admitted to police she exchanged sexually explicit videos and photos with the teen, and they had physical sexual contact, the complaint says.
