ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — An Oconto Falls man is facing charges in the beating death of his girlfriend at an Ashwaubenon motel.
Police say they saw “red flags” in 46-year-old Dennis Sutrick when they responded to the Ashwaubenon Motel 6 location last Friday and found a woman without a pulse. That woman’s pulse was temporarily restored, but she later died according to Ashwaubenon Public Safety Captain Brian Amenson.
First responders had initially responded to a medical call.
The 54-year-old victim lived in Oshkosh, her name hasn’t been released.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety has referred charges of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide, Felony Murder,
and Aggravated Battery
