HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Former Packers running back AJ Dillon was back in Green Bay making a difference through ‘The Dillon Family Foundation‘ at the Howard Commons.
The foundation focuses on combating hunger and empowering families throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle, presented a donation check worth $10,925 to the Families of Children with Cancer Foundation.
It comes after their successful Luke Combs ‘Packs with Purpose’ livestream on May 14.
That event raised $21,850 for local charities through opening and auctioning hundred of trading cards on Fanatics collect.
“Regardless of which team I’m on or where I’m at when it comes to football, Green Bay has given so much to myself and my family,” said Dillon. “And we continue our efforts here from the Pickleball event we had a couple weeks back to this Luke Combs event and now presenting this check.”
He added, “I think everybody for the most part has somebody or knows somebody affected by cancer and we were just talking. We wish that this wasn’t even an organization that needed to be possible, we wish that everybody was healthy obviously.”
Dillon now plays for the Carolina Panthers.
‘The Dillon Family Foundation’ started in 2024.
