(WNFL) – Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski amazed on Saturday at Coors Field in Denver, pitching the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-1 win over the Colorado Rockies.
Misiorowski went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 8 batters. Most impressively, he threw 45 pitches at 101.7 miles per hour or faster which is a new Major League Baseball record since records started being kept in 2008.
Misiorowski improved to 7-2 with the win.
David Hamilton had 4 hits for the Brewers while Christian Yelich, William Contreras and Brice Turang each had 2 hits. Turang’s 2 hits were both home runs.
Zach Agnos started and took the loss for Colorado.
The 2 teams will wrap up the series Sunday afternoon with the broadcast of the game starting at 1:35 with the pre-game show on 97.5 and 1360 WTAQ.
