Custody interference charge filed after search for Oshkosh father and 6-year-old son

OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – John Madigan, the man who was the subject of a police search when he and his son left the Oshkosh area, was charged with interfering with a custody order.

Madigan, 40, made an initial appearance Tuesday. He was released on a signature bond, and returns to court May 18 for a status conference, court records show.

On April 30, Oshkosh Police asked for help in locating Madigan and his son, 6. Later, they announced the pair left the area for California.
