(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) DE PERE – St. Norbert College was shut down 2-0 by St. Catherine’s University in a non-conference game at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (1-3) trailed 1-0 for most of the contest following Emily Olson’s goal at 19:04 before conceding a second at 79:37 from Bella Meier.
Addie Schneider (pictured) came close to responding with her long range effort at 30:19 going just over the top crossbar. Mya Gonzalez and Aleah Reesman both had opportunities in the second half that missed just wide of the goal.
Leah Hess helped the Green Knights stay in touching distance to the Wildcats, including a big save coming out of halftime in the top right corner. The sophomore made five saves between the posts.
The Green Knights were outshot 14-3 by the Wildcats.
