The 34-year-old Denver resident and amateur improv comedian went viral across social media after putting up flyers around town and inviting total strangers to Cheesman Park to witness her attempt to roller skate for the very first time in her life.
The quirky, heartwarming gathering brought out a crowd of supporters armed with signs, ready to cheer her on as she fulfilled what she dubbed her “destiny”. Spectators cheered on every triumph and applauded as she repeatedly crashed onto her backside, proving that sometimes, the best way to build community is just to get together, touch grass, and embrace a little silly fun!
