(UW ATHLETICS) – The Wisconsin men’s hockey 2026-27 non-conference slate is out and the Badgers open the season at the Kohl Center with a two-game series against Atlantic Hockey-member Robert Morris on Oct. 2-3.
The 2026 NCAA finalist Badgers follow up the opening weekend with their first visit to the CCHA’s Minnesota State since January 2013 with games on Oct. 9 and 10. It will also mark head coach Mike Hastings, associate headcoach Todd Knott and other staff members first visits to Mankato, Minnesota, since taking over the Wisconsin program for the start of the 2023-24 season.
After the Badgers jump into Big Ten play, they return to non-conference action with a home series on Thanksgiving weekend against Atlantic Hockey’s Canisius on Nov. 28 and 29.
NCHC-member Omaha also visits the Kohl Center for a Dec. 10-11 series to wrap up the first semester schedule.
UW returns to Milwaukee for the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off on Dec. 29 and 30. Other teams in the tournament include NCHC-member Arizona State, Hockey East’s UMass and the CCHA’s Northern Michigan.
