(UW ATHLETICS) – The Wisconsin volleyball program reveals a star-studded roster that includes 11 athletes currently playing professional volleyball and four National Champions for the Badgers’ Alumni Match on Saturday, August 8. The evening will also celebrate the dropping of the 2025 NCAA National Semifinal banner.
Thirteen former Badgers will return to the UW Field House to take on the current 2026 Wisconsin roster in a best-of-five match that will begin at 6 p.m. (CT).
The full list of alumni attendees consists of 11 current pro volleyball players, two Olympians, four Badger National Champions, two AVCA National Player of the Year honorees, and a combined total of 27 AVCA All-American honors.

Coaches*: Annemarie Hickey, Anna Smrek, Dana Rettke
The Badger alumni will be coached by Annemarie Hickey, Anna Smrek and Dana Rettke as the three will not be suiting up.
In addition to the match, Wisconsin will reveal its 2025 NCAA National Semifinal banner with the help of Badger alumnae Jada Cerniglia.
The Alumni Match is included in this year’s season ticket package. Single match tickets go on sale, Thursday, July 30 at 9 a.m. (CT).
