A semi-truck carrying nearly two million bees overturned on a Texas road, releasing massive swarms into the air and completely blanketing a nearby tree while frantic local beekeepers raced to contain the stinging situation.
One resident poked fun, remarking, “I thought it was an existential scream from deep within me,” before realizing it was “just millions of bees on the loose, so that was a relief.”
Local handlers eventually rounded up the displaced insects and transported them to a nearby honey farm. Thankfully, despite the terrifying volume of loose insects, no serious injuries were reported.
