A 7-year-old Pennsylvania boy has officially bundled his way into the history books after slipping on 50 sweaters simultaneously, breaking a Guinness World Record in the process. The Monroeville Public Library’s Children’s Room announced the feat on social media, revealing that young Skyler Rozell-Whitaker tackled the heavy-knit challenge during a special event at the facility.
Guinness World Records meticulously reviewed the video evidence and official counts from the attempt, confirming that Skyler’s final total of 50 layers comfortably crushed the previous world record of 46 sweaters. The library made sure the stunt served a good cause, too; all 50 of the sweaters used during Skyler’s record-breaking run will be held and donated to the facility’s annual community sweater drive later this fall!
