You genuinely cannot make this up.
Kathleen Thomas, known online as @slightlyoff.balance, was pulled over on February 11th by a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy who claimed he saw her using a phone in her right hand while driving. The problem? Her right arm ends below the elbow.
The ticket carried a $116 fine, and the deputy stuck to his story… even as Katie pointed out, on camera, that she does not have a right hand. At one point during the stop, she was even asked to raise her hand to swear.
She pleaded not guilty and the internet lost it. Then, the night before her court date, she dropped the body cam footage. Watch it below.
