The residents of West Seattle gathered on Sunday to hold a full-scale funeral for a Taco Bell that closed its doors in 1991. Organized by a local artist known as “Sunday Nobody,” the event proved that some cravings, and some heartbreaks, never truly fade!
The ceremony featured professional bagpipes, a 21-bell salute, and a “crying contest” for the most bereaved fans. Locals arrived dressed in traditional funeral black, laying flowers and “tokens of condolence” at the site. Even a local councilmember joined the service, offering a solemn eulogy that reminded the grieving crowd to “Live Más.”
