Michael Ingold PC: Fox 11 Online
SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A jury acquitted Michael Ingold Tuesday night of a first-degree intentional homicide count for the June 2022 death of a woman, court records show.
Ingold did not testify at the trial, which started April 7, according to court records.
According to the criminal complaint, Ingold called police on June 25, 2022, to report the woman’s death.
An autopsy showed her injuries were consistent with “manual strangulation.”
In several interviews with police, Ingold denied being responsible for the death, even though they were the only two people in the town of Wescott house at the time.
