Jan 12 (Reuters) – Spot gold ‍rose over 1% to hit ‌its first ‌record high of 2026 on Monday, at $4,563.61/oz ​propelled ‍by ​safe-haven demand ​amid ‍geopolitical risks and a poor jobs ‍print on Friday bolstering ‍interest rate ‍cut ​bets ​by ⁠the U.S. ‌Federal Reserve.
