GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One lucky lottery player turned a $10 ticket into nearly $260,000 in winnings.
On Saturday, Aug. 2, an individual bought a $10 Hit the Jackpot Fast Play ticket from the University Shell located at 2030 University Avenue in Green Bay.
Unlike other lottery games, the Fast Play Progressive Jackpot can be won as soon as the ticket is purchased. The amount won from the Progressive Jackpot depends on the ticket price purchased by the player. $1 tickets win 10% of the Progressive Jackpot, $2 tickets win 20%, $5 tickets win 50% and $10 tickets win 100%.
The player in Green Bay won 100% of the Fast Play Progressive Jackpot, totaling an instant win of $259,394.
The odds of winning the Fast Play Progressive Jackpot are 1 in 240,000.
