The opening round of the USHL Clark Cup playoffs is going the distance as Chicago showed some steely resolve in beating the Green Bay Gamblers 5-2 in Game 2 at the Resch Center Tuesday night. Green Bay captured Game 1 Monday night 6-5. The Steel led 2-0 after the first two periods before Green Bay got back into it on a goal from Mykhailo Danylov early in the third. Chicago answered two and a half minutes later, adding another with 10 minutes left. Julian Lutz netted his second goal of the series to make it 4-2 but Chicago put the game away with a final tally with just over two minutes remaining. The decisive third game of the series will face off at the Resch Center Wednesday night at 7:05 PM.
