1. A guy named Anton Nootenboom is raising awareness for men’s mental health by walking barefoot across the U.S. from L.A. to New York. He left Santa Monica, California on Saturday.
He calls himself “The Barefoot Dutchman,” and this ain’t his first rodeo. In 2019, he became the first person to make it to Mount Everest basecamp barefoot.
Walking from Cairns to Sydney is a feat of endurance by itself now imagine doing it barefoot. That's exactly what one man is doing. Anton Nootenboom, nicknamed the Barefoot Dutchman, is attempting to break the world record for the longest walk without shoes. #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/aJlCngwJsF
