Three of the following are FACTS…one is a FIB (scroll down to find out which one!)
1. The weight limit of a small U.S. Postal Service flat rate box is 70 pounds . . . and less than 100 packages a year exceed that limit.
2. The word “care” in “care package” was originally an acronym for “Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere.” An organization called CARE started in 1945 to send packages of food to starving people in Europe after World War Two.
3. Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela gets hit by lightning approximately 300 times a year. That’s four out of every five days.
4. The Cowardly Lion costume in “The Wizard of Oz” was made out of a real lion skin.
AND THE FIB IS:
#1!
The weight limit of a small U.S. Postal Service flat rate box is 70 pounds . . . and you wouldn’t be able to exceed that limit, even if you filled it with the densest substance on Earth. (The densest material on Earth is Osmium)
