Three Facts & A Fib – Mon. 10/23: British Dollar Tree / Wonderland / Backstreet Boys / Rx

1.  The British version of Dollar Tree is called “Poundland,” which makes sense when you think about it.  The British equivalent of the dollar is a pound.

2.  In the book “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, the word “Wonderland” is only used twice.

3.  The Backstreet Boys never had a number one hit.  The closest they came was when “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” got to number two in 1997.  ‘N SYNC DID have a number one song, with “It’s Gonna Be Me”.

4.  The reason “Rx” is used for prescriptions is because it’s a short version of the Latin word “recipe,” which means “Break.”
