Three Facts & A Fib – Wed. 7/19: How Robert Kraft Owns Patriots / Oldest Newspaper / Odd Tennessee Geography

Three of the following are FACTS…one is a FIB (scroll down to find out which one!)

1.  The owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, was able to buy the team because of the prior owner’s financial difficulties, largely due to financing a Jackson Five tour in 1984.

2.  Bristol, Tennessee is closer to Canada than it is to Memphis, Tennessee.  Bristol is in the northeast corner of the state, which puts it about 400 miles from the Canadian border . . . and 500 miles from Memphis in the southwest corner.

3.  The oldest newspaper still running is “Berrow’s Worcester Journal” in England . . . it started in 1690.

4.  The singer Gary Numan is has the same birthday as the actor Gary Oldman.
