1. A handful of states do not allow “happy hours”: Alaska, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah, and Vermont.
2. One of the most popular candy bars in the Soviet Union was called Hematogen . . . and one of the ingredients was cow’s blood. It still exists today, but it’s now considered a medical product to help with nutrients and treat malnutrition.
3. Lisa Rinna’s mother survived a serial killer called the Trailside Killer in 1960. He murdered at least 10 people between 1979 and 1981 and is still on death row.
