DETRIT, MI (WTAQ) – Just when you think the Green Bay Packers season can’t get much worse, it does. The Packers go into Detroit hoping to get a win against the 1 & 6 Lions, but Aaron Rodgers throws 3 interceptions, 2 in the red zone, and the Packers lose 15-9.
The Packers also contributed to this loss in other ways. Penalties stalled drives for the the Green Bay offense and kept drives going for the Lions offense.
In a season that has already seen its share of injuries, Green Bay suffered some news that knocked running back Aaron Jones and receiver Christian Watson out of the game.
Green Bay falls to 3 & 6 on the season and the immediate future doesn’t look bright for pulling out of the tailspin.
The Packers play against former coach Mike McCarthy the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday at Lambeau Field.
