FIFE’S FURBALLS! MEET ZELDA!
Zelda is a 10-week-old boxer mix puppy. She was surrendered to Lakeshore Humane Society for medical issues. She has a condition where one of her ureters are not where is should be, and causes her to leak urine. Zelda was born with this issue. Lakeshore Humane Society has begun the steps with a specialist to start her on a treatment. Eventually, she will end up needing to have a pretty major surgery to repair the problem. After the surgery, she will lead a very happy, normal life. Even now though, she doesn’t have a clue anything is wrong, other than wearing a diaper. She is a very happy and loving dog. She falls for anyone who she is around and showing her love and attention. She HAS been around cats and dogs of all ages and sizes! She will do great in almost any setting.
To be clear, they need a foster until after the surgery. Someone who can provide a home and all the lovies! The surgery is expensive, anywhere between $6,000 and $9,000 dollars, but with the help of Lakeshore Humane Societies amazing community, they hope to raise the funds to fix this sweet lady!
