THE YEAR IS… 1999!
- The group name is LFO, which stands for Lyte Funkie Ones.
- The bands line-up when “Summer Girls” came out and became a smash hit song… included Rich Cronin, Brad Fischetti, and Devin Lima.
- LFO had their first split in 2002. They attempted a comeback in 2009, and then split again in 2010.
- Rich Cronin would pass away from after a battle with leukemia, and a stroke as a secondary cause of death.
- The two remaining members announced they would continue on in 2017 as a duo. Unfortunately, that would be short lived. A second member of LFO would be diagnosed with cancer, this time adrenal cancer. They made the announcement that they would permanently disband in 2018. Devin Lima would pass away later that year.
