Ladybug was rescued by the amazing folks from Albert’s Dog Lounge !!! (Located in Texas!)
Ladybug was picked up as a stray, and is now looking ahead to her future! She came up to Wisconsin with other dogs who already homes waiting for them, and now Ladybug is ready to find her FOREVER HOME! She enjoys lot’s of attention, and even likes to dress up in her in pittie pj’s! Her foster mom says Ladybug 100% love!
She doesn’t mind car rides too much, and she loves to go on adventures. She is still getting used to things though. Lot’s of the adventures bring new things that Ladybug has never done before. She just needs to get used to doing stuff, she needs patience as she learns to find her place. Her foster mom says it took a few weeks for Ladybug to come out of her shell.
Her first week she pretty much kept to the couch, it was nice and comfy and the blankets were soft. She would sleep there too. After a while she got curious where her foster mom went at night, and started following her upstairs. Turns out there’s a bed even bigger than the couch so now she sleeps there! After a week or two she started playing with toys too. She loves the squeek toys and gets that cute pittie head tilt when she hears them! Sadly, her front teeth are all worn down to my gums, but that doesn’t stop her from chewing on a bone now and then.
She loves every human she meets, young or old! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and will lick your hand to encourage you to pet her! She is good at keeping down and not jumping up on people too! Her bio says she’s do best as the only dog, cats and small dogs remind her of rabbits in the yard and I’ll turn on my turbo boosters to run fast to catch up to them. Dogs her size are a different story. She could probably live with them if her new owners were experienced dog owners and took introductions really slow. Separate as needed. She gets kind of scared when she meets new dogs, she just needs her time.
She will go in her crate, even if it isn’t her favorite thing. Again, over time she continues to get more used to things like the crate. She has also been proving how responsible she is by staying home alone with access to just a couple rooms. Proud to say, no accidents or wrecking anything! She can easily get in a routine and will make you proud!
She is a pretty easy going doggo. Age guess is about 9-years-old, so a couple short walks a day is all she would need to get that energy out. With the weather getting nicer, she enjoys laying outside on the porch or sitting on the outside couch with her foster mom. She doesn’t bark at anyone, even when outside.
She is a REALLY good girl! Please submit an application and meet Ladybug, you won’t be disappointed! More on the app here.
