13th Annual SOUPer Bowl - New Community Shelter

Are you ready for some SOUP?!

The ladle drops for the New Community Shelter’s 13th Annual Souper Bowl Monday, February 2nd and runs through Super Bowl Sunday, February 8th.   

Each participating Restaurant will be donating a portion of there soup sales for the week and the proceeds will benefit the New Community Shelter.

-Not By Bread Alone – Ashwaubenon
-The Abbey – De Pere
-Hilly Haven Golf Course – De Pere
-Stadium View – Ashwaubenon
-The Booyah Shed – Green Bay
-Gyro Kabobs – De Pere
-1951 West / Rock Garden – Green Bay
-Bourbon Street Bar – Green Bay
-Poke The Bear (inside Hotel Northland) – Green Bay
- Nicolet Restaurant – De Pere
-Hey, Soup Sister – De Pere

The New Community Shelter is the only Emergency Shelter in Brown County open year-round that serves homeless adults only from Brown County. Our belief is that only through addressing the issues which contributed to their homelessness is an individual able to break the cycle of homelessness.  The goal is to deliver services with an emphasis on the values of respect, empowerment, and accountability.

The New Community Shelter also offers a Transitional Living Program for those needing extra time and care as they transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. We also have a Community Meal Program which is the only meal program in Brown County that serves dinner year-round and lunch every weekend and all holidays to anyone in the community who is in need.
