Texas couple Carlos Muniz and Grace Leimann had to deal with the ULTIMATE Wedding Crasher: COVID-19.
However, thanks to a caring nurse and his co-workers, the couple were still able to tie the knot.
During what was supposed to be his bachelor party weekend, Muniz was instead battling what looked like a losing battle with Coronavirus in the hospital ICU.
That’s when nurse Matt Holdridge got the idea to have a ceremony in the hospital, knowing that a positive frame of mind can be an important part of recovery.
With Matt and his fellow nurses stepping up with different ideas on how to make the day special, they were able to pull off the wedding:
Carlos was able to get into a tuxedo, along with Matt, his new ‘best-man’ and he was wheeled in his bed to room with his bride, all dressed up and even had wedding music and many hospital staffers on-hand.
Matt told CNN that it was a huge morale booster not only for the bride and groom , but also the entire hospital staff.
