GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Police Department says it’s investigating a shots-fired call on the city’s west side.
In a release, police say just before noon, officers were called to the 1700 block of Western Avenue after receiving reports of possible gunfire.
Witnesses tell police that shots “may have been exchanged between two people, one person in a vehicle and another on foot, both of whom fled the scene,” the release says.
Police say they found evidence indicating gunfire did occur. No injuries have been reported.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
