(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the San Francisco Giants 5-4 on William Contreras’ walk-off home run in the ninth inning at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Contreras also drove in a run with a double earlier in the game.
San Francisco which got 2 home runs from former Brewers shortstop Willy Adames had tied the game 4-4 in the top of the ninth on a wild pitch by Trevor Megill.
Megill imporved to 5-2 with the win.
Randy Rodriguez took the loss for San Francisco and fell to 3-5.
The 2 teams meet again tonight at American Family Field.
Freddy Peralta who is 15-5 with a 2.78 ERA will start for the Brewers.
Logan Webb who is 11-9 with a 3.19 ERA will start for San Francisco.
The pre-game show starts at 5:35 with the first pitch at 6:10 on 1360 and 97.5 WTAQ.
