(LEARFIELD) – A 7-2 win at Atlanta over the Braves on Tuesday night extended the Milwaukee Brewers winning streak to five games in a row.
A four-run explosion in the third inning blew a scoreless game wide open.
Andrew Vaughn and Isaac Collins drove in two runs each.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that the team was able to take advantage of mistakes by Atlanta.
Murphy said that it’s another win.
He said that the team has to stay focused with the upcoming schedule.
Freddy Peralta got the pitching victory after giving up just one run in five innings.
Jose Quintana starts tonight’s game as the Brewers go for the sweep.
